20·01·07: A better "Anti-Music Song"

My entire day was made this morning by waking up and finding in my e-mail that one of the supernice people on the theforum Mountain Goats listserv had spent a few minutes late last night uploading a handful of songs from an old CDR he'd refound recently, which before that had come off an old PARTY OF ONE cassette tape, to a sendspace link he was sharing with the list. Party of One was one of Peter Peter Hughes's old bands, before Diskothi-Q, and well before he joined the Mountain Goats. It seems they released three or so tapes sometime in the early 90s on Sonic Enemy, a now-defunct cassette-only label that was a major presence in the then-blossoming Inland Empire lo-fi movement. The guy who uploaded this one didn't know the name of the album, or the titles of most of the songs (there were 8 of them?). They are all awesome.
